ITALMATIC buffer was created more than 35 years ago and has received great recognition and acceptance from Italian retreaders on account of its simplicity in operation, strong construction, high quality and precision finish.
In 1969, with the encouragement of our home consumers, we exhibited our buffing machine at the London Motor Show.
The outright sales of the buffers opened the door for Italmatic exports.
The overwhelming response for Italmatic machines grew, and were soon installed by retreaders throughout the world and in leading retreading factories in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and other Asian countries.
As the largest manufacturer of retreading machines in Europe, Italmatic produces hundreds of buffers, extruders and inspection machines per year. The majority of its products are for export to South Africa, Middle East countries, Australia, Far East and United States.

In 1976, we decided to build our second industrial plant with a total area of 6.000 sq. meters located in Lucca , a wonderful town very close to Pisa and Florence.
In this factory, more than 100 curing presses for tyres of different sizes and 300 matrices were manufactured.
The new factory also housed its own foundry shop for aluminium material, where over two thousand tread patterns for tyres are cast. Also autoclaves of any kind for any need are manufactured.
In 1983, we completed the range of our products with tools for tyre repairing and service shops and garages. With our capability and technology, today,  we can say that ITALMATIC is the only company in the world capable of manufacturing  complete plants for tyre retreading and of supplying a complete range of tyres' shops accessories.

In 1990, in our factory in Lucca, we inaugurated a complete plant to rubberize rollers with machines manufactured by Italmatic. You are invited to take vision of our computerized extruders, of our autoclaves c/w loading/unloading installations and of Italmatic grinding machines for cylinders model RTC. This Training Center allows us to rubberize every day a considerable number of rubber cylinders and to develop continuously the technology of our machines, thanks to our daily experience.

ITALMATIC AUTOCLAVES nowadays are at the top of the worldwide production for technological level, quality and economy.
They introduce today innovations and solutions matured in decades of experiences and experiments in the most various industrial fields like, for example, the stratification of laminated flat and curve glass, the treatment of composite materials, the production of rubber hoses for medium and high pressures, the tyres’ retreading, the curing of rubberized rollers and finally, but not last, among these few examples, the impregnation, etc.

Recently we finished building a new factory, in which we installed a complete plant for the production of COMFORT superelastic industrial solid tyres. The employed technology is of the latest generation with Italmatic machines and, in particular, with cylindrical radial matrices in six segments, warranting the max. quality and performance compared to solid tyres manufactured with traditional technology. Moreover, we produce a considerable number of presses to mount/demount solid tyres from rims of forklifts.
